According to InTASC standard two, a teacher understands each student learns differently. The teacher must understand that no two students are the same, so certain parts of criteria may have to be modified in order to achieve this (InTASC, 2014).

According to ISTE-S standard six, a student understands that they have the right to communicate and express themselves through digital technology. They are allowed to choose a platform of their own, and tools are implemented for their success. Through this standard, students communicate complex ideas clearly through digital technology (ISTE-S, 2014).

According to ISTE-E standard two, it is the educators job to Shape, advance and accelerate a shape, advance and accelerate a shared vision for empowered learning with technology by engaging with education stakeholders (ISTE-E 2a 2014). To do this an educator must have prior knowledge over technology and how to navigate around it. It is also an educators job to make sure their students have access to technology if needed.

According to standard one, learner development, a teacher must truly understand what is best for each child in order to help children reach their full potential in school. To fulfill this standard, a teacher must first take into consideration that each child’s learning patterns differ. To achieve this, a teacher must regularly assess each student in the classroom in various ways to see what works. A teacher must also work with the family, and other trained professionals, to further their knowledge on which strategy works best for each student (InTASC 2014). Once it is established how the child learns best, the teacher must make special les- son plans, or incorporate certain aspects into the everyday lesson plan for each student. By doing this the child has the appropriate tools to be successful through school.

According to ISTE standard 1c students use technology to further their learning experience. Students must be able to navigate through the technology provided to them through the school, and or at home. They must understand the fundamental con- cepts, and they must be able to demonstrate their ability to choose different appliances to explore emerging technologies. Students may use technology to gain feedback that helps improve their performance, and allow them to demonstrate their knowledge in a variety of ways (ISTE 2014).

According to ISTE standards for educators, educators are in charge of designing authentic, learner driven activities and environments that recognize and accommodate learner variability (ISTE 5). Educators must use technology to create personalized learning experiences that accommodate each student’s needs. The technology used must have activities that coincide with content standards, and the tools used must maximize learning potential. In order to do so, an educator must be up to date with the latest techno- logical advances, and they must set professional learning goals for not only them- selves but their students
